Team WNT F2

Focus On… Team WNT F2 – Almost Ready to Test…

This evening Simon from Team WNT F2 sent me this image showing the extent of work that has had to be carried out on their boat following the Lowestoft GP weekend. You can clearly see where the right sponson became detatched from the hull, the split that ran along the deck towards the cell and the damage that was sustained to the canopy above the screen.

It’s great to see the work coming along and to to know that the repair has gone smoothly so far.

Remember, all this effort they are going to is building up to what promises to be a great weekend of racing at Carr Mill Dam, near St. Helens, on 28th & 29th May. If you’ve not been to one of our events before, why not pop down and see what we are all about?

Focus On… Team WNT F2 – Update

Following the damage sustained in Steve’s accident at the Lowestoft GP, Team WNT F2 have had their work cut out making sure they will be back and fighting fit in time for the Lancashire GP at Carr Mill Dam in two weeks time.

This morning I have spoken to Simon, one of the team members, to get an update on their progress.

“I think we can say that we are all working flat out to be at the Carr Mill test session the week before with a competitive boat. The main prep is complete and the engine has been serviced so it’s a case of a lot of smaller jobs to be done this week, then we are ready for testing again.”

So it sounds like the team’s great work ethic and determination will pay off and they will be back and hoping to fight at the front at what promises to be a really exciting weekend.

Why not come and join us at Carr Mill Dam (28th/29th May), St Helens, WA11 7LZ, for two fun-filled family days of fast and furious action on the water?
